Jessamy Calkin, a features writer for the Telegraph, a newspaper distributed in the United Kingdom and internationally. This winter Ms. Calkin and her family traveled to New York City and Nantucket, and she wrote about her trip for the paper. In the article, she writes about enjoying a meal at the Brotherhood:
That evening was dark, crisp and cold with hundreds of stars in the sky. We had supper at the Brotherhood of Thieves (named after an 1844 pamphlet attacking slavery): oysters, chowder and gulf shrimp chased down with a beer called Cisco Whale’s Tail.
